New Biomass

Biomass (biological weight) is the amount of organic material in an area of land. This term has located widely used in recent years, due to concerns related to energy. The biomass is able to generate gases which are processed ,in specific plants , in energy.
This energy is the result of decomposition of organic materials such as, for example, manure, WOOD, agricultural residues, residues of food and others.
Biomass can be a good energy option because it is renewable and produces low amounts of pollutants. Power generation from biomass can contribute to reducing the greenhouse effect and global warming.

While much of the planet is devoid of forests, the amount of existing biomass on earth is the order of two trillion tons, which means about 400 tonnes per capita

A major advantage is that the biomass, though in reduced efficiency, their use can be made directly by means of combustion in furnaces, boilers etc.. To increase the efficiency of the process and reduce social and environmental impacts, has developed and improved more efficient conversion technologies, such as the gasification and pyrolysis are also common co-generation systems using biomass as energy source.

In medium and long term, the exhaustion of nonrenewable resources and environmental pressures can lead to higher utilization of biomass energy. Currently, biomass is being increasingly used for electricity generation, especially in co-generation systems and supply electricity to isolated demands from the power grid.

Aiming at this market and being a company connected to the timber sector, the Incomatti has seen over the years the huge waste of biomass in Brazil and abroad, mainly forest residues as primary source of energy. With this vision, the Incomatti through its affiliates, set in 2012 to work with this energy source with an audacious plan, through the Joint Ventures, acquisitions, implantation of productive units and a select group of highly trained professionals, skilled and several years of experience in the market for biomass and energetic, becoming one of the largest companies in the industry.

In the beginning we will be focusing mainly on products such as wood pellets, PKS (Palm Kernel Shell) and wood chips produced from North to South Brazil and in countries like the United States, Canada, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and others.

The pellet and a source of renewable energy, and a solid fuel of granulate pressed wood residues from waste wood, compression of the material and assured that the lignin contained in the timber and allows the production of pellet without the use of adhesives and abrasives, its main utilization and space heating for commercial, residential and utlizado and also the generation of energy in industrial plants.

The pellet of wood or wood pellets known as solid fuel and a cleaner, the combustion and more efficient smoke generating lot less than the normal wood and less waste, this due to the low moisture content, usually between 6 and 8% and wood pellets , being smaller, use much less space for storage and transport.

Facing a global market so promising and seeking their social and environmental responsability, the Incomatti could not stay out so decided to invest in biomass, mainly through plants in Brazil, United States and Canada, as the main target companies in Europe and Brazilian local market-growth. Through strategic partnerships in Austria, Germany, Italy, United States, China and Canada, Incomatti intended to be a leading sector.
